You Make The Call: The Mustache Of Doctor Fu Manchu

yoisthisracist:

Alright Racecars (going to stick with this one), I can’t do it all. Which one of you is going to tell me the funniest reason this shit is racist?

First of all, it says F U Manchu, a clear insult to this innocent Chinese man, who was probably just minding his own business, cultivating his fierce mo. Secondly, he looks like George Takei, which makes this ‘tache brand racist and homophobic. Thirdly, the marketing geniuses imply that being Chinese is a “theatrical disguise” allowing you to blend in with one sixth of the world’s population.

London is where I’m comfortable, and when I’m comfortable I’m actually pretty unbearable. Loud, bossy, annoying, a show-off, a bully, and a maker of snide remarks. Some people like that; most don’t.

I dig, man.
